In his characteristically enigmatic style, London designer Craig Green presented a men’s collection brimming with potent yet ambiguous symbolism, inviting the audience to interpret and decipher the underlying messages. Many elements seemed to draw inspiration from the Himalayas, with Sherpa-like wraps enveloping the body in vibrant Tibetan prayer flags. Additionally, Oriental rugs and dusty mats disintegrated almost completely as the models lumbered down the runway, perhaps alluding to the Nepalese earthquake. Other garments were similarly deconstructed, notably trenches and various pieces from a Western man’s wardrobe, potentially reflecting the struggles faced by the European Union. Regardless of the perspective, this collection demands significant effort both in comprehension and in wearability.
